CoalIndia.org is developed for celebrating NAVRATNA status of Coal India Ltd.

Site is basically on two platforms –

1. This part of the site is providing the mail services. Only employees of Coal India Ltd can create their mail ids as

yourname@coalindia.org

For getting mail ids, one have to register at CoalIndia.org and then request for an email ids with their details ( name, grade, DOB, employee/personal no, company, discipline as per CIL records & choice of anyone suffix like org or info) . After initial verification coalindia.org will activate their email ids like as aksingh@coalindia.org or arunkumarsingh@coalindia.org . You can request some choice of email ids containing your name.

Get email on your mobile also using your phone's web browser.

You can use different languages ie. Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujrati, Oriya, Malyalam etc. in email.

Employees can create here their own website too as

www.yourname.coalIndia.org

Creating own web sites needs no knowledge of web designing – all supported by Google tools.

2. At other part of the site one can create their own groups, blogs, forums, articles, quiz, polls etc. Here employees can chat among other registered online members with video & audio.
